FAME Annual Benefit Gala

FAME holds annually the Benefit Gala to raise funds to underwrite FAME Arts Camp scholarships. The FAME Arts Camp is an overnight week-long summer arts camp at Camp Potawotami with concentrated study in the annual FAME Cultural Focus -for 2010: THE AMAZING RACE THROUGH THE ARTS. It is the only weeklong residential arts camp in Northern Indiana for youth ages 8-14, who love dance, music, art, creative writing and/or drama. In 2008, we awarded over $25, 000 in need-based scholarships to 66% of the 116 youth, (8 to14 year old) FAME campers.
This camp nurtures our next generation of artists to form a lasting bond of acceptance among their peers and to encourage them to continue with their unique talents and creativity.
